Wendy Estrada has been in the Banking industry for 15 years and has been with Union Bank for the last 12 years. She is passionate about community development and enjoys serving as a board member of NLBWA-LA and Bloom Again Foundation.
Erica A. Arias, Founder and CEO of Imperio Tech LLC and President of Alpha Prime Consulting LLC, is an expert in developing business and driving internal organizational change. She conducts relevant culture/morale assessments, executive coaching, training, leads focus groups and performs cutting-edge research. Erica is a devout community advocate and leader and has been a featured guest speaker at conferences for adolescents and underserved populations. Erica is an active member of the Latino Chamber of Commerce, National Latina Business Women’s Association of Los Angeles, Pomona Chamber of Commerce, and the Boyle Heights Chamber of Commerce. She is a Business Mentor for Undergraduate Students at the University of La Verne. With over 15 years of experience in developing diverse and inclusive work environments, Erica is known for her dynamic mentoring; she has trained constituencies such as nonprofit organizations, law enforcement agencies, higher education institutions, and startup companies. She has a Bachelor of Science in Behavioral Science and a Master’s degree in Education both from the University of La Verne.
Livier is a highly driven, bilingual individual who is focused on being of service to others. Her purpose and passion is to be a resource to business owners with the knowledge and tools that she has acquired to support them in their businesses and to empower them to maintain or grow their business in today's economy. Voluntary benefits are designed to supplement and customize major medical plans to help cover financial gaps and out of pocket expenses due to co-pays, deductibles, co-insurance and annual out of pocket maximums. These plans include accident, hospitalization, cancer and critical illness. Livier has offered work-site plans since 2001 and Medicare solutions since 2010. She has supports the community to provide “Peace of Mind” by educating Medicare-eligible recipients on how to choose a health plan that minimizes their out of pocket costs and helps provide additional benefits, not included in basic Medicare, as well as Value Added Benefits to help consumers that live a higher quality of life. Additionally. She offers various financial solutions that will help consumers plan for their future by protecting their lifestyle and assets through individual planning to meet their current and long term needs.
Rosa M. Fregoso
Rosa M. Fregoso is a trusts and estates attorney. She has been an attorney, licensed to practice in the State of California, since 1992. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from the University of California San Diego, graduating cum laude. She received her Master of Arts degree in Latin American Studies from the University of California Berkeley and her law degree from Boalt Hall School of Law at the University of California Berkeley. Ms. Fregoso began her legal career as a Staff Attorney at the Legal Aid Foundation of Los Angeles (LAFLA) where she practiced Immigration Law. She also worked as a Trial Attorney with the Los Angeles County Alternate Public Defender’s Office. She is fluent in Spanish and she is active in the community. She currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Variety Boys and Girls Club in Boyle Heights and Lideres Campesinas, Inc., a non-profit organization focused on assisting farm worker women and she is also on the Board of Directors of the National Latina Business Women’s Association, Los Angeles Chapter (NLBWA-LA). She is a member of the Latina Lawyers Bar Association, the Mexican American Bar Association, the Los Angeles County Bar Association Trust and Estates Section, The California State Bar Trusts and Estates Section, and ProVisors.
Alyssa is the current President of the National Latina Business Women Association - Los Angeles Chapter. A nonprofit whose mission is to promote, develop and support the rapid growth of Latina business owners and career professionals through education, capacity, and network development. Alyssa’s career is centered in financial services and works as a Financial Services Representative for New York Life. Throughout her tenure with them she has held various roles including Pacific Region Latino Market Manager where she oversaw and implemented growth strategies for seven states across the Pacific Northwest. In her commitment to build our communities, she also serves as Treasurer for the Latina Public Service Academy and is on USC’s Civic Engagement Economic Advisory Committee. Alyssa received her bachelor’s from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) and her Master’s in Communication Management from the University of Southern California (USC). Alyssa finds her passion in working with minority communities and is dedicated to helping build capacity for current and future generations.
