
Flory Martinez is a dedicated professional driven by her passion for community advocacy and financial education. She is on a mission to empower individuals to make informed financial decisions. With over 20 years of experience in the banking industry, she brings a wealth of expertise to her role as Financial Educator and Operation Manager at U.S. Bank’s Magnolia Place Financial Education Center, located within the Children’s Bureau Magnolia Center in downtown Los Angeles.
In this role, Flory cultivates strong relationships in low-to-moderate income communities. She provides personalized coaching and financial education counseling tailored to the needs of individuals, families, and small businesses. Additionally, she collaborates with local nonprofit organizations to lead initiatives that promote financial literacy.
Flory’s commitment to community service and financial education is not just a job; it’s a belief in the power of these initiatives to transform lives by helping families manage budgeting, homeownership, education funding, and more. She has been instrumental in guiding initiatives that impact family financial stability and future planning.
For the past four years, Flory has been a board member of the National Latina Business Women Association – Los Angeles chapter (NLBWA-LA), an organization that empowers women-owned businesses. Additionally, she has dedicated over four years to serving as the Hope Youth Leadership Advisor, mentoring and guiding young individuals on their paths to leadership and success. Last year, Flory joined the Board of Directors for Central City Neighborhood Partners, an organization committed to enhancing community engagement and support for families in the area.
When she’s not volunteering at a nonprofit, Flory loves spending time with her family—her husband and two sons, Ronnie (19) and Ethan (9), who inspire her daily and encourage her to dream bigger. They enjoy hiking, hitting the beach, or relaxing with a good movie at home.
