Astrid is a Financial Services Professional, entrepreneur, and proud immigrant dedicated to uplifting her community through financial education, women’s empowerment, and service. Originally from El Salvador, Astrid moved to California at age 17 and navigated the challenges of starting over in a new country with resilience and purpose.

After working in the beauty industry to support herself through college, she earned a bachelor’s degree in Marketing and Business from Cal State Northridge. Her early experiences—balancing work, school, and family responsibilities—instilled in her the discipline and heart that guide her work today.

In 2021, Astrid transitioned into the financial services industry with a mission to help individuals, families, and small business owners build and protect wealth. As a Financial Services Professional with New York Life, she specializes in retirement planning, life insurance, investment strategies, and long-term financial protection.

A strong advocate for immigrant and first-generation communities, Astrid is passionate about helping others overcome the financial barriers she once faced. She believes in challenging comfort zones, breaking limiting beliefs, and pursuing financial freedom with purpose.

As a proud board member of NLBWA-LA, Astrid brings her professional expertise and lived experience to empower Latina entrepreneurs and leaders throughout Los Angeles. Her commitment to service and community advancement aligns deeply with the organization’s mission to support and elevate Latina businesswomen.
