Alyssa started her career with New York Life as an Agent in 2011 after graduating from the University of California Los Angeles (UCLA). During her first year as an Agent she worked closely with the Latino community educating them on financial literacy and qualified for council. In December of 2012 she was promoted to Senior Associate of the Latino Market where she concentrated on identifying and developing Latino leaders within the Los Angeles General Office. In 2013, Alyssa led the Los Angeles Latino Market team to take two national awards for recruiting and production growth and in 2014 she qualified for Gathering of Eagles. As of January 2015, she was promoted to the Pacific Region Marketing and Recruiting manager for the Latino market, where she oversees and helps implement marking strategies for the Latino community.
Alyssa is currently perusing her master’s degree in Communication Management from the University of Southern California (USC).
Alyssa finds her passion in community empowerment and is involved with various non-profit organizations throughout Los Angeles. She is on the Board of Directors for the National Latina business Women Association – Los Angeles Chapter.
