Gilda Pettit has over 35 years of Commercial Lending (Asset Based Lending) experience; and is currently a Vice/President/Credit Products Officer at Bank of the West (BoW). Prior to joining BoW, she spent 10 years at Wells Fargo Bank as a VP/Relationship Manager.
Gilda is a native of Guatemala City. At the age of 13 she moved to Los Angeles California. After her two daughters were old enough, she returned to college to pursue her BA and continued her studies and earned her MBA at Azusa Pacific University. Gilda loves to give back to her community and in her capacity as the Vice-Chair of the Hispanic Team Resources Group at Bank of the West, she involves them in community educational and hands-on activities that improve and touch people’s lives. She is an avid golfer and through her involvement in the Latina Golfers Association she is impacting the lives of inner-city girls through her participation in the Mentor/Mentee program of the Girls Golf Team at Roosevelt High School. She is member of the Board of Director of the National Latina Business Women Association-LA Chapter (NLBWA-LA).
Gilda is married and loves spending time with their two daughters and seven grandchildren. She also loves to play golf, hike and travel.
