Vera Jimenez is a Journalist and Meteorologist, going live on the screens of KTLA5 at 6, 6:30, 10, and 11 on weeknights. Vera has earned four Emmys, three Golden Mikes, and three Golden Pylons. She is originally from Mexico but was raised in Southern California, the place she chose to make her home. 

Aside from her journalism career, Vera has owned a restaurant with her husband for over 5 years. She is a motivational speaker and leads people in entrepreneurship, by speaking at organizations and events, and sharing her journey on social media.
